Infinium pours out a deep golden color with fine bubbles and has a fruity, elegant aroma. Its crisp acidity gives it a dryness and tartness on the palate that is balanced with a smooth malt body. Dark roasted malts, such as black patent malt (the darkest roast), can lend a bitter coffee flavor to dark beer. Some brewers like to emphasize the coffee flavor and add ground coffee. Brewers will often give these beers names such as "Espresso Stout" and "Breakfast Coffee Stout".

Troegs JavaHead Stout: contains a blend of locally roasted espresso and Kenyan coffee beans by St. Thomas Roasters in Linglestown, PA. The result is a lush oatmeal mouthfeel balanced with cocoa, roast and subtle coffee flavors. Available in 6-packs and 22oz.

Beer Geek Brunch Weasel : is an Imperial Oatmeal stout that is brewed with one of the world’s most expensive coffees, made from droppings of weasel-like civet cats. The fussy Southeast Asian animals only eat the best and ripest coffee berries. Enzymes in their digestive system help to break down the bean. Workers collect the bean-containing droppings for Civet or Weasel Coffee. The exceedingly rare Civet Coffee has a strong taste and an even stronger aroma. Available in 16.9oz.

Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout: has a dark brown color with a medium beige head. Aroma is dominated by a light roast, some chocolate, and medium coffee with cream. Flavor has a good deal of creamy coffee with a nutty roast and chocolate in the background. Available in Fall 2011 in 22oz.
